This lens was purchased from an MOD auction. The lenses were primarily used by Aircrew and none photographers to shoot aerial and ground intelligence pictures. The lenses were fixed to a body with grub screws and the focus dial was also fixed on the hyperfocal distance again with a grub screw. When de screwed the focus dial goes just past infinity but focuses perfectly well, this lens is fabulously sharp and a beautiful portrait lens.
